Nov 21. Lukoil is to take out a USD 540 mn loan to finance the acquisition of Turkish sales company Akpet, a source in banking circles said. "The loan agreement has been signed" – the same source said. According to media reports, the purpose of Lukoil’s loan is to take over Akpet. In late October Lukoil borrowed USD 250 mn at 6.5% for this deal and a new loan is an extension of this transaction, the source pointed out. Another source said that this is a club transaction.
